5 Rules For Dating A Black Woman

well again you're watching strong network TV this is Kahmeela's corner and I'm Kahmeela! this week I'm gonna give you some helpful tips on dating a black woman so you aren't black but you would love to date a black woman who would blame you um you know you're down with swirl obviously that's why you're on this channel and that easy peasy I'm here to help you out I am here to help you woo your nubian queen but as always please note that I do not represent I do not speak for an entire race or an entire gender these are all just things that I have learned from my own personal experiences number five our hair this is a very wide topic this comes with subparts and footnotes but I will try to keep it simple don't touch it unless you were authorized we spend a lot of time effort energy and money on our hair and we do not need you to catch us off guard by sticking hands all up in there and you know messing up an unsecured track or messing up the perfectly quaffed fro we don't need it we don't want it you don't want it black hair comes in all different types lengths textures and you should know that your woman can go to the beauty salon aka the shop at 8 am

to get her hair done and you may not see her until all the street lights are on and it's dinnertime or maybe even well past it's also possible that she may not fully recognize her immediately when she comes back with her new braids or length or whatever she and her hairdresser cooked up in the last 12 hours then there's the haircare that happens at home my husband knows that if it is a haircare day for me if it's wash day I'm not leaving the house I mean the day's going to be spent with me washing and detangling and deep conditioning and twisting and curling and doing all sorts of stuff that I don't want folks in the world to see me looking like crazy and stuff so uh yeah and also you don't get to complain about it number four mom our relationships with our mothers are very secret and special most of us hold our mothers in very high regard she's been a rock a teacher our coach our caretaker our protector our guide the list goes on and what you won't do is ever fix your mouth to say anything negative about or disrespect her I know a lot of white people who have been talking crazy to their mothers ever since they learned how to talk I don't know what that's like I don't understand it it baffles me I know we all it's black women have that one story about that one time where we thought we were grown and lost our damn minds and tried it with mom and let's just say that story doesn't end well for us quite frankly I'm still scared of getting a whuppin for my mom even if we're fighting even if I'm fighting with my mom or complaining with my mom you don't get to your best bet is to just kind of keep your mouth shut sit back listen empathize we don't really want any advice on our moms this rule only really applies to like a small group of people other highly regarded and you know beloved family members Jesus and Angela Bassett number three don't start none won't be none in Malcolm X's 1962 speech who taught you to hate yourself he says that the most disrespected woman in America is the black woman it still applies in 2018 white people have this misconception that we are all just angry black women for no reason it just loud and obnoxious we go through life being disrespected and disregarded because of both our race and our gender we're second guests at every turn every turn we're ignored until we walk into a white space and then all eyes on us and it's not because of the obvious black girl magic it's because they are believing the hype and I think we're in there to start some trouble or whatnot we're very aware of it when we're being disrespected and we will call you out on it immediately don't start nothing won't be nothin number two never use the n-word not just not an anger not in passing not while wrapping a Tupac song not with a hard-r not with an A not in the house now with the mouse not on a boat not with a goat do not use it Sam I am Number One we are not monolithic hey guess what black women and people come in all different shapes sizes shades moods skills and personalities don't think because you know one that you know all of us that will be your epic downfall if you try to treat a real-life black woman like some ridiculous stereotype the media has been feeding you for years you will get your feelings hurt quickly okay black queens are there things on the list that I forgot let me know in the comments please subscribe to the channel please like the video you can not ask me questions or get at me on Twitter at the underscore rugged angel thanks for watching and until next time
