The head of Queensland’s oldest homeless children’s charity has said he is frustrated with the fact his organisation is the only community group campaigning for a change in the way offenders are dealt with.

The Greens and Labor have all pushed for the establishment of a national “homelessness” initiative, which would see the issue of childhood homelessness addressed by providing a mandatory life sentence for those found to have been in poverty at a young age.

The Greens said in May that it was not supporting the idea, saying that children’s families were already able to apply to a number of government agencies to be placed on the National Transition Program.

T카지노 사이트he Greens’ national co-ordinator and former environment minister Tony Burke has also called for an urgent debate on the idea.

The Greens said the program would enable Queenslanders to help homeless families who find themselves without a place to stay in an effort to alleviate the state’s homelessness problem.

And Mr Burke said children’s charities should take on a more central role in public affairs.

Mr Burke also backed the concept o바카라사이트f a national “homelessness” program and acknowledged there were “other issues to deal with, such as violence and drug misuse”.

“You’re dealing with the biggest issue facing the world today, people on the margins, and it’s absolutely critical that we all contribute,” he told the ABC’s AM program on Tuesday.

Mr Burke said there was a lack of understanding of homelessness among government agencies in Queensland and there was also a lack of compassion for those homeless.

“And that can’t be helped any more with this approach because it’s simply not the appropriate solution and it’s simply not the humane thing to do,” he said.

“I think there needs to be recognition that not all people are homeless on the fringe of society. There are people on the margins who are experiencing a lot of extreme aapronxnd severe conditions, who have a really difficult time accessing the world.

“I know people who are totally homeless or in care.”

The Greens have also launched a campaign titled “Stop the Broken Promise” to highlight the need for more compassion for people in poverty.

In a release last week, Mr Burke said the homeless children’s program was the most significant challenge facing Queensland.
