A British man is being sought for extradition to America over sex allegations, after being arrested in the US city of Boston on Wednesday and charged with a third degree sexual assault.
A spokesman for Britain’s Interpol organisation said Donald Donald Smith, 22, is being sought after he allegedly attempted to enter the US on a fake passport.
He’s also been charged wit슬롯 머신h being an accessory after the fact to the rape.
He could face extradition to the United Kingdom or US.
Smith, of Oldham in north-east England, denies three sexual assaults, while the charges are connected to an allegation of sexual penetration in a hotel.
Smith was on bail in April being treated for a suspected alcohol and drug addiction af성남출장마사지ter being arrested for allegedly sexual offences against an unnamed woman on January 20.
After the claims surfaced, he travelled by boat from Bournemouth to Boston and on Wednesday was stopped when entering the city from the port of Boston.
He was taken to a US border control station on the Long Island Sound where he was asked to explain “why he was travelling so widely”, said spokesman Simon Tisdale of UK Interpol, which oversees the country’s fight against crime.
The spokesman said Smith’s arrest stemmed from a complaint made to his agency by the woman. He claimed he was detained because he posed a threat to national security.
Smith could face a maximum penaltymassage of 10 years in prison for the alleged attack and a maximum sentence of life in prison for a subsequent charge of sexual contact.
